I wasn't sure what category to put this in.
This is a collage of my friend and I cosplaying as Abarai Renji and Kuchiki Byakuya, from the anime Bleach. We made the entirety of our costumer ourselves. Seriously, all we bought was the raw materials. We made real kimono tops and hakama. It was hard! I made the background in Photoshop. Bleach fans will note that it is based on the background used for the closing in one of the early Bleach episodes. My friend and I are also doing similar poses to what the "real" Renji and Byakuya do in the closing sequence. So it's not perfect. It was tough to duplicate the poses, and I had to collage two different photos, and we don't look much like Renji or Byakuya in real life, but we tried. (btw: I'm cosplaying as Byakuya) Info about how we made the costumes is here.
